Helpful Resources

1. To download Audacity (for Mac or PC) go to:the Audacity site and follow the instructions.
2. To host a podcast or Vodcast in Podomatic go to the Podomatic site online and create an account - for free. If you have questions about Podomatic, they have a list of frequently asked questions.
3. To log into the Unitec Podomatic site got to: https://www.podomatic.com/path/login
- user name: unitecnzpodcasts
- password: unitec09
- To view your podcast as other people will see it click here.
4. To subscribe to your podcasts you will need a 'podcatcher' ("special client software applications...[that] automatically identify and retrieve new files in a given series when they are made available... New files can thus be downloaded automatically by the podcatcher and stored locally on the user's computer or other device for offline use, making it simpler for the user to download content that is released episodically" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podcatching). Popular podcatchers are: a) Juice, b) Winamp, c) iTunes.
